STI College partners with Pilipinas Shell Foundation

April 17, 2008

STI recently signed a memorandum of agreement with Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI) for the social performance project called the "Shell-Jollibee Scholarship Program."

The Shell-Jollibee Scholarship Program is dedicated towards deserving out-of-school-youths in the Philippines who need access to quality and efficient technical education and skills development.

In the agreement, a minimum of 12 out-of-school-youths will be endorsed every semester to partake in Food and Beverage Services and Commercial Cooking courses. Scholars who graduate from the course will also benefit from STI’s E2E System, with the coordination of PSFI, to assist each scholar in finding gainful employment opportunities.

STI President and CEO Monico V. Jacob, Pilipinas Shell Foundation Chairman Cesar Buenaventura and Jollibee Foods Corporation AVP for Human Resources Tet Jotie were present during the signing.

STI and FPSI are also partners for the “Gas Mo, Bukas Ko” scholarship program.
