STI Strengthens Learning Model for New Semester
March 2, 2022
Two years into the pandemic, STI College continues to move forward in the institution’s core mission of providing real life education through innovative learning delivery systems and holistic student development activities that are relevant to the needs of the students, community, and industry.
For the second semester of the academic year 2021-2022, one of the largest networks of schools in the Philippines will continue with the ONE STI Learning Model; strengthen its industry linkages; and will continuously offer financial aid assistance programs to provide students with opportunities to grow, move up, and succeed in spite of the ever-changing times.
ONE STI Learning Model
With the drastic change that the country’s educational landscape has undergone in the past years, STI made sure that quality learning continues for its students by introducing the ONline and ONsite Education or the ONE STI Learning Model at the beginning of S.Y. 2020-2021. This academic framework aims to achieve the desired learning outcome for students by combining online tools and technology with onsite or on-campus hands-on training.
Under the ONE STI Learning Model, STI faculty members and students maximize their Microsoft Office 365 and ELMS accounts to remain connected and collaborate in different learning activities. Utilizing the world’s best learning management system for schools and universities, both students and educators will receive the latest updates in the field of education and technology that will best complement and enhance their experience such as Adaptive Learning Technologies.
STI will continue to implement this framework for the second semester of the school year, which will officially begin on February 14, 2022. Those interested to enroll may register now at https://apply.sti.edu
Campus health and safety mandates
The health and safety of each individual is STI's top priority. The institution abides with the mandates of local health authorities, the Department of Education, the Commission on Higher Education, and the IATF for the preparations of the eventual limited face-to-face classes.
Recognizing the need for hands-on physical training in well-equipped laboratories especially for students of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, and Hospitality Management, STI is making the necessary arrangements to ensure each student and teacher will be safe and confident to physically go back to school should the limited face-to-face classes be allowed.
Financial aid programs
Aside from receiving a holistic and fulfilling learning experience, incoming college students and transferees who will enroll at STI for this semester can save more on tuition fees when they apply for the institution’s financial aid programs that are only applicable this Second Semester of the school year 2021-2022, such as:
- Pag-IBIG - STI Educational Assistance Program
- GSIS-STI Educational Assistance Program
Internet Connectivity Assistance
STI is also extending its Internet Connectivity Assistance to second semester enrollees given that classes are still going to be held online. This will provide new students and transferees with up to 34GB monthly data allocation for free, which they can use to access learning materials and attend online classes.
By enrolling at STI now, students can take advantage of the quality education that the institution can provide under the ONE STI Learning Model and move up in their academics despite the current circumstances with the goal of finishing their degree and become future-ready.
