STI celebrates a Childlike Christmas with media friends

December 10, 2008

Christmas spirit is all over STI as students and faculty from STI College-Recto, along with the people from the STI Headquarters and STI Foundation gathered to share the holiday cheers with media friends. Dubbed as "Celebrating a Childlike Christmas," the whole team was able to merrily celebrate Christmas with the 50 street children gathered by ChildHope Asia Philippines, last December 10.

It was a Christmas party of sorts for the kids as they feasted in Harbor Square, Roxas Boulevard, eating their favorite treats and dancing with Jollibee. After having their fill, the kids excitedly partnered with their Ates and Kuyas from STI College-Recto and the media, who served as their guardians for the day. Hand in hand, they then hurried to Star City for a fun-filled adventure!

Donning ride-all-you-can tickets, the kids ages 8-12, were all big-eyed with their one-of-a-kind Yuletide treat. Indeed, it was a time well spent as the children and the guardians got to know each other better, with the kids sharing their heartwarming stories.  That one fine day of great bonding leaves every child and all participants with happy hearts and a one-of-a-kind memorable experience.
