Who Brought Home Silver in the 16th TESDA Regional Skills Competition?

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) held its 16th TESDA Regional Skills Competition to open an opportunity for technical-vocational students to prove themselves as the best in their fields. One of STI College – La Union’s students showcased his proficiency in computer programming during the three-day event that started on October 12, 2015. Robert Jhon Camarillo, a 4th year BS Computer Science (BSCS) student, competed at the Skilled Area category in the IT – Network System Administration which was conducted at Colegio de Dagupan. Coached by his adviser Engr. Clarence Abenes, he garnered 480 points for his competency in the area and stood out as one of the best in his trade earning him the silver medal, bringing pride to his school.

With his medal, Robert will continue to inspire fellow STIers to grab every opportunity that will help hone their talents and abilities so they can further their career ahead. Under STI’s guidance, more students like Robert will progress in their personal development and strive for excellence.
