October 6, 2020
After winning this year’s Anvil Awards and in the Asia-Pacific STEVIES 2020, STI Education Services Group, Inc. (STI ESG) was once again recognized for its youth-oriented program, the STI Career Camp, during the SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific (APAC). The SABRE or Superior Achievement in Branding and Reputation Award is evaluated by a jury of more than 60 industry leaders worldwide, and STI with PAGEONE is the sole winner of the prestigious award from the Philippines.
Originally scheduled to be presented at an annual awards dinner in Tokyo, Japan, a virtual SABRE Awards ceremony was instead held on September 24, 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
STI Career Camp with PAGEONE, an award-winning communications agency, bested other finalists from the APAC region in the Educational and Cultural Institutions category. The other finalists were #BPM100 Dance Project of the Japanese Red Cross Society and Bytedance KK with TBWA\Hakuhodo, and AR you ready for Hey! of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Launched in 2019, the STI Career Camp is a free workshop for both Grade 10 and 12 students facilitated by STI faculty members and student assistants where they can explore their possible career options through different interactive and experiential hands-on modules such as the Entrepreneurs Camp, Bakers Camp, Mobile Photography Camp, and Game Developers Camp. It provides potential STI students with engaging learning experiences that will help them in making the right choice in Senior High School or College.
"STI has always been committed to bringing out the best in our students so that they can become capable and well-rounded individuals in the future. However, the road getting there may not be clear for many students, especially those who have yet to decide on which senior high school track or college program to pursue. That is why we developed the STI Career Camp to help them make informed decisions and guide them to choose the right career path based on their interest and personality,” said Aisa Q. Hipolito, STI’s Vice President for Academics.
As the education sector continues to face new challenges and changes, STI is committed to guiding students on making the best choice in their career and to nurture each student’s potential through the STI Career Camp, new online learning models, and student development programs.
With over 5,000 entries globally each year, the SABRE Awards is the world’s largest PR awards programme, recognizing superior achievement in branding and reputation in North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific, Latin America, South Asia, and Africa.
