2. THE MIND MUSEUM

3. PRESIDENTIAL MUSEUM AND LIBRARY
What better way to know more about our previous presidents than to pay them a visit at the Presidential Museum and Library? You can also check out little trinkets, articles of clothing, and other presidential memorabilia.

4. THE SHOE MUSEUM
The Shoe Capital of the country also has a smaller and more specialized museum known for the assortment of shoe-shaped objects, traditional footwear from different countries, and a life-sized diorama depicting the art of shoe making in Marikina. What fascinate people the most are the footwear that used to belong to some really famous celebrities, singers, and renowned personalities like Imelda Marcos, Joseph Estrada and Miriam Defensor Santiago. The museum is also home to the Guinness record holder of the largest shoe in the world.

5. CEBU HAPPYWORLD MUSEUM
Similar to Manila’s Art in Island, this place is also packed with incredible 3D paintings, cut-outs, and optical illusions. Invite your family and friends to take amusing photos and have make-believe adventures inside the Cebu Happyworld Museum.

6. BOHOL NATIONAL MUSEUM
This small museum is an often overlooked tourist destination, but it surely is an interesting place to visit. It offers pictures and remnants of historic artifacts like skulls, jars, and a diorama of an old cave. There are also models of churches around the province and a dioramic explanation of how the majestic Chocolate Hills were formed. This place will take you to the past of this beautiful province.

7. MUSEO DE ILOILO
Museo De Iloilo is a venue for art appreciation and culture-enriching education. Inside the museum are fossils, swords, and spears of the Mondo tribe of Panay, and the permanent exhibit showing an Ati family. Other artifacts are statues, burial urns, blue and white ceramics, prehistoric tools, a tableau of the Last Supper.

8. SUBANGAN PROVINCIAL MUSEUM
Subangan Provincial Museum is an interactive, state-of-the-art museum that features treasured relics, photos, videos, interactive visuals, documents, and textiles from Davao Oriental. It showcases the rich cultural and historical heritage as well as the natural beauty and bounty of the province. At the main hall of the exhibit is Davor the whale. An impressive 53-feet fossilized remains of a 20-ton sperm whale found at the coast of General Generoso. Davor is considered the largest whale in the country.

9. MUSEO DE ORO
Are Philippine legends and myths your thing? Then you have to visit Museo de Oro! As the country’s first folkloric museum, it portrays the creation stories of ethnic groups like the Ifugao, Tagalog, and Ibaloi. It also showcases the fossilized remains of a Stegodon found in Misamis Oriental and relics from the Spanish, Japanese, and American periods.

10. MUSEO DABAWENYO
Museo Dabawenyo or the Museum of the People of Davao is also a heaven for the history buffs and art junkies. It has a rich collection of the best and most prominent handicrafts Davao is known of. You can check out galleries of arts, crafts, paintings, wood carvings, musical instruments, weapons, miniature houses, chairs, and crowns used by Muslim people predominantly found in the Southern Philippines. There’s also an assortment of olden day clothes, bills (money), musical notes, porcelains and a lot more.
