See the Best and Brightest at the 32nd Anniversary
STI kicked off its 32nd anniversary with a celebration of remarkable talents and a will to change.
Starting last August, students from STI campuses nationwide zealously competed in their schools for the local levels of the Battle of the Bands, STI Singing Idol, Hataw Sayaw, and Mr. and Ms. STI 2015. The winners moved up to the cluster level and followed by the national level. The national level competitions culminated on September 25, 2015 wherein more than 21,000 STIers converged at the Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna to witness the outstanding feats of STI’s rising stars.
Joining the STI community in its grand anniversary celebration were popular celebrities Bea Binene, Rita Daniela, James Wright, and the boy band Trilogy composed of Jak Roberto, Abel Estanislao, and Jeric Gonzales. Their rousing performances moved the crowd to their feet and added spice to the students’ experience.
Amidst all the festivity, STI also rallied the whole community to show their willpower and participate in nation-building by taking the lead in enacting positive change with its anniversary theme, #iWill.
Aside from these social competitions, STI will likewise be holding the Tagisan ng Talino and Tagisan ng Sining competitions in early 2016 to hone the students’ proficiencies in computer programming, photography, culinary arts, music video production, essay writing, cake decorating, and public speaking.
